been thinking about buying zoombinis for my 2 and have just been reminded of it after reading Nic’s blog. Anyone know of the best place to get it from? Which one is the best one or most suitable to start with or should I go mad and get the triple pack?

Zoombinis is brill
If you get a good deal on the three-pack, go for it, but otherwise just get the first one (Maths Journey), as you can play one of them for ages and ages.
Sometimes you can find them cheap on ebay.

Ebay? We got our first one from there, then it got broken and we bought the set from PC World.

Mountain Rescue’s the easiest (imo), then the original Maths/Logical Journey, and the latest one, Island Odyssey is defintiely the hardest. If you see a good deal on a triple pack, probably worth getting

We’ve got the triple pack, I think I got it from amazon for about a tenner but that was back when I didn’t check prices
D can now do all three with the odd bit of help and he will play them for ages. I do like them, I’d even play them myself if I were gaming inclined.
