thought I’d done well getting Marcus a Gameboy for his birthday and found a decent price at Game online. Anyway arrived today and I bought the wrong thing - managed to buy a 3 inch teeny tiny micro console!! Duh! Ah well, back to the drawing board

Those gameboy micros are the newest gameboy - I know they’re small but the screens on them are meant to be much better than a normal gameboy screen - have you returned it already?
TBH Kirsty what you should look out for is a DS - the DS Lite just came out, so loads of people are trading DSs in at Game for them, (trade in value if £40) so you never know, you might be able to pick one up pre-owned? Don’t know what your budget is, that might be too much, but if you found one you could ask rellies for games. Also the GBA games still go into the DS

Thanks Sarah, no haven’t returned it yet. I can take it back to the store though so I’ll have a look and see if they have any pre-owned DS’s when I do. I can just see the Gameboy Micro getting lost after a day it’s so small!!
Will have a think about what to do.

Thanks for the tip Sarah! They must make a fortune on trade ins - It cost me £65 and if the trade in price is £40 they make £25 on each one!! Ah well, it’s a mint condition one with a years warranty and I think he’ll like it so that’s good. Only got one game at the moment, Rayman, but have asked for Game vouchers for presents so I’m sure he’ll be able to start saving for more.

Games that Joe likes playing are Wario touched, Yoshi Touch & go, Mariokart … erm, I’m sure Ernest might have some recommendations too!

E says Trauma Centre, Brain Training, Sonic Rush, Mario Kart, Super Monkey Ball and Meteos (i.e. most of the ones we have!)
