So what’s happening?
Well, in short, we won’t be staying in Scotland much longer. James has just had it with the job, the hours and all the crap so when I mentioned that if the job wasn’t going to work out that I would rather have another job back in Yorkshire with our families he’s been set on the idea. I think he’d have stayed up here if I’d wanted to, but it seems daft since we have nothing much up here and we miss our family and friends terribly.
So, I think he’s working till November (we don’t want to land my brother in the shit really since he did help us out so much. Shame he’s a bit of a wanker), but he has a 2 week holiday in that when we’re off to a youth hostel with friends and for Alex’s birthday. Wasn’t sure he’d make it, but glad he is now. The week before that we’ll spend at my mums and try and get a job I suppose, oh and a house!!! I really should be panicking about it all, but I’m not. I guess I’m quite happy we have the luxury of being able to just up sticks and leave. Joy of not owning our house I suppose. We always have our caravan too, and we can “holiday” on my mums drive with it. Although that doesn’t sound pleasant in November!!!
So anyway, just thought I’d post where we are with it all. I’m ok with it, but have been feeling a bit down lately but I think it’s more to do with having to pack up the house again! We’ve more time this time, so I anticipate more decluttering and getting rid of crap. So not looking forward to it!

Sorry Scotland hasn’t worked out for you. But it will be nice having you back! You are welcome on our drive any time!

Plenty of time for the 2 of you to think about setting up your own business to move back with?
((hugs Kirsty))) Feel really out of touch with you, but thinking of you.

Yeah, room on our drive any time too (although we don’t really qualify as Yorkshire!). Glad you’ve made a decision. See you in a couple of weeks. xxx

Sorry to hear it hasn’t worked out. I hope the future plans do work out for you all.

I’m glad you’ve decided too, sounded like it was tough being in a place when you weren’t sure what to do. Hope it all works out well with finding another job etc.

fingers crossed that James finds the *perfect* job and you find the *perfect* house somewhere near all your friends again!!! Good luck de-cluttering!

Well I’m glad you’re not sorry, and are seeing it as another positive step (albeit one you’re not looking forward to having to organise). I’m sure you’ll eventually look back and feel that the whole experience has been valuable for all of you, even if it didn’t work out as you’d originally hoped. Very much looking forward to having you ‘home’. We’ve missed you.
