I think
I know a few people who could make a few bob from making these!! And if I ever find my fimo I bought donkeys years ago, I might have a go myself!

Hi Kirsty, tried to leave this comment twice on your wedding blog, unsuccessfully … so trying to leave it here.
When I read you were making invites, I backread your wedding blog because I suspected you’d be crazy enough to self-cater too LOL! (Takes one to know one!) We self-catered our wedding (1998) for 100 (about £700) … by going to the supermarket (Sainsbury) the day before (200miles from home, at my parents’) … buying up all the prefab stuff (Indian snacks, party food, dips, cold meats, huge bowls of fruit, etc) … we put it in the supermarket fridge overnight (about 4 trolleys worth) … collected it and plated it up in the morning (long trestle tables) … got dressed, got married, came back and ate none of it … too busy. Forgot to take photos, but it looked incredible, was cheap and nicer than prof catering (in our opinion …. as we hand picked it!)
It was a really great achievement to have made together, working as a team (and I enjoyed the expression on my step granny’s face, who kept bitching about us self-catering because we would be loading the job on my parents!) I’d recommend it if you are sure you will be doing it as a team, without kids in tow!
