Life is a Highway - it’s the journey, not the destination

every time the computer gets back up and running it keels over again. Really must sort my laptop cable out (only been meaning to since Christmas!) So am totally behind on lots of things I’m sure. Really need a good chin wag gossip session I reckon. Which reminds me about bookin gKessingland - job for today!

James is on his first day of his new job. He’s on his way back from Leicester this morning, after going to Gloucester. Am fairly nervous for him and keep wondering if I should issue warnings fro the motorways Only joking. He’s a fab driver, but I am still nervous! He’s very happy so far and says it’s the easiest job he’s ever had.

Feeling much better in myself again, although house a mess, we’ve no money (STILL! But at least no debts, one day we’ll be better!) and kids generally being crap.

Ok off to phone Kessingland. *edit* called and BOOOOOOOKED! Ooooh all excited now.

James has a new job! We’ve been a bit in limbo lately, wondering what to do re his work, whether to risk him being available for agency work full time, try to get him a part time job so he could get agency work part time or even for me to work part time so he could be available for agency work. It seemed the only way he’d get on and get experience in driving would be agency. BUT, managed to find a job vacancy which he phoned up for on Monday with a local company (just couple of miles down the road), he had an interview yesterday morning and was offered the job yesterday afternoon! Yay, permanent job, not agency, local and driving! I just hope he’ll like it an it will all go ok from now on.

is going to have to be a regular occurence here! It’s about the only way I think I’ve ever managed to get Marcus to understand anything mathematical at all! Today we’ve been doing addition, sets of stuff, dividing, fractions and whether numbers where odd or even. This is good.

(I do however feel like death warmed up, have some awful pain in my jaw and feel so wiped out, so letting the have their games time now while I snooze!)

having constant computer problems. This time it’s really dead, so have nicked my mums laptop again, and am set up for the week till they come back from holiday. *sigh* I hate computers.

I’m really struggling to get back into blogging, reading blogs and all that jazz. I’m craving some sort of stability in our lives at the moment and it’s not happening so I’m just ever so down, every day James does have a new job though, although nothing majorly exciting, and not driving So he’s still restless and wants to be driving understandably, but it’s really taking its toll on me which is spilling over into the behaviour of the kids and my moods (never that good at the best of times!).

Kids both doing well, Marcus was reading something to his Grandad the other day and I felt really proud that we’d got him reading wthout the aid of schools. Alex doing well too, she’s taken to the Big Brain Academy game which James has prematurely got for his birthday. She beats James at it!!! Well not all the time Both have seemed to have had growth spurts, so they are pretty much average now (maybe)

Should be booking Kessingland soon too, I need a holiday!
