Books we have enjoyed here are the Harrys (which is what started her audio book obsession) and Roald Dahl's Four Favourite Stories (although they are abridged which I didn't realise when I got it, he reads them himself though which Aprilia thought was pretty cool for some reason) and Stories 4 Cool Kids which is a short story collection. We had one of the Unfortunate Events out from the libraray a while ago too, very dramatically read but no good for bedtimes! The Water Horse book is really different (much better) than the film.

And the Iron Man we had out of the library so long I could have bought it at least twice over with the fine. Ernest likes Ordinary Jack (apparently these Bagthorpe stories are well-known!) and loves The War Diaries of Alistair Fury.
